Alumni Raise $2K for Chapter Rush
At the Alumni Association meeting in April 2008, the alumni voted to raise and donate $2,000 for the chapter's premier rush event for the Spring 2009 rush effort. The funds help defray undergraduate costs, helping the chapter be more competitive cost-wise with the other two fraternities on campus. The funds went to the rush event held at Timber Ridge. The chapter gained seven great pledges during Chapel Walk, all of whom were successfully initiated in April 2009.
Chapter Receives President's Cup
For the first time in several years, a men's fraternity has once again received the President's Cup as the best Greek organization on the Lyon Campus. 2008 Greek Challenge Donations Get Chapter New Furniture
Thanks to everyone who supported the college and chapter for the 2008 Greek Challenge! The Lyon College Greek Challenge fund-raising competition ended with Kappa Sigma soundly out-donating other Greek organizations. The competition allows alumni to donate tax-deductible funds that are then split between the college's annual fund and facility improvements for the donor's chapter.
The chapter spent their portion of the donations getting much-needed new couches for the 6&8 apartments.
35th Anniversary Celebration
April 11-13, 2008 - Batesville, Ark.
The Alumni Association and Lambda-Iota Chapter held a great 35th Anniversary celebration April 11-13, 2008 in Batesville with over 90 Lambda-Iota Brothers in attendance! We enjoyed a wonderful reception With President Rotteger and Peggy at Bradley Manor, had a great time at the BBQ lunch, and enjoyed a great banquet with the undergraduates.

Alumni Dues
Don't forget to pay your alumni dues as well! It's only $25 each year and all funds go directly to support the association and undergraduate chapter. This year, for example, our funds are being used to help cover the substantial cost of the 35th Anniversary events.
